There are four primary colors used the the background colors of appointment cards: blue/cyan, gray, yellow and green. Light blue is overwhelmingly the most common background color...with varying degree/tints of blue...going done to 5% in the Cyan color spectrum. What's good about using blue is that the card can be instantly recognizable as being an appointment card as opposed to being a business card. |

Gray is also another heavily used color background. At left we have black at 19%, then 11% in the middle then going down to 5%. Gray always has a nice, dignified look to it and works especially well in the medical/dental professions. |

Yellow is another great color choice...going from 20% yellow to 15% yellow...then down to 5% in the CMYK color spectrum |
|
Green is not so commonly used anymore, yet it can be a good color choice to make the background stand out. Here we have a standard green going down to a very light tint. This is the only color in the CMYK spectrum that requires using more than one color. Here we have varying tints of cyan and yellow to create the green color background. |

These are certainly not the only colors that can be used in the background of the appointment card, yet they are by far the most common. We can create any tint/color that you want. Just let us know the CMYK color percentages or the Pantone color that works best for you.
