Can linen card stock be used in the creation of appointment cards:
Linen card stock is a very high quality card stock and it is an expensive card stock to use. Usually, cards are made with a thin matte card stock with a generic cyan color or maybe yellow.
Not all linen card stock is suitable for writing on as there is still a shiny sheen on the card which can make ink smear, which defeats the purpose for having the card in the first place.
Another factor is the cost of the cards: Line can be up to twice the amount of our regular card stock.
The main advantage is that linen is a very high quality card stock. It is very elegant and it can make a very good impression.
This can be a great option when the back side of the card is being used as business card.
Linen can be set to any color that you want, with the traditional background being white. Any light shade can be used and you can choose non traditional colors
Even with the advances with printing and cell phones, there will almost always be a continued need to a standard appointment card, and we are probably 20 to 30 years away from the mere possibility of exclusively using smartphone devices to take over this task. We are still at a point where a majority of the population does not even own such devices. Furthermore, senior citizens would almost certainly not be able to use such devices easily, and would vastly prefer a traditional printed card.
Our latest design styles involve larrge print cards for the vision impaired and dual language cards for those who need to see the next in other languarges besides the English language.
We have traditionally kept our dual language appointment
cards on two-sided cards where one language (English) would be on one
side and the other side (normally Spanish) would be on the other side.
We know have an option to make a the dual language option on
just one side of the card, where the relevant English and Spanish words
can appear side by side to same room for the card, for example, we have
the statement:

We also have the English and Spanish days of the week so
that the relevant day can be circled in the respective language.
This layout gives the advantage of leaving our free back
side of the card for other purposes. We can also include other
languages in the dual format, but it would be required that you furnish
the text for your alternate language as we are only familiar with the
Spanish text on the appointment reminder card. You can either send the
text via email or have a graphic designer convert the foreign text
format to outlines and submit that in PDF format to us.
